6th Texhibition Istanbul showcased of Turkish textile innovation to the world

The sixth edition of Texhibition Istanbul, held from September 11-13, 2024, showcased the Turkish textile industry's strength and commitment to innovation and sustainability. With a focus on yarn, the fair attracted over 24,000 visitors from 117 countries, reinforcing Turkey's global influence in textiles.

Texhibition has attracted 130,000 visitors over the past two years, establishing itself as one of Europe's leading textile fairs. Exhibitors showcased eco-friendly practices, including water-saving dyeing techniques, energy-efficient production, and recycled materials. Buyers from Europe, Asia, North America, and beyond attended the fair, generating numerous orders.

The Texhibition Trend Area presented themes for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2025-26 season, emphasizing earthy, environmentally friendly colors. Cutting-edge projects, such as illuminated dresses and self-warming jackets, were showcased in the Innovation Hub.

The Turkish government is driving the country's green transformation through initiatives like GreenTIM and EcoTIM, which support companies in meeting European Green Deal regulations. This focus on sustainability is vital for Turkey to maintain its competitive edge in the global textile market.
