Aastha Spintex diversifies into grey fabric and value-added woven categories
...Transitioning from a standalone spinning mill, Aastha Spintex is extending operations into grey fabric and value-added woven categories. Following the acquisition of Falcon Yarns, which more than doubled its annual spinning output to 17,457 metric tons and increased spindle count to 61,824, the company is capitalizing on its expanded infrastructure.
As per the company’s management, the integration will boost margins by reducing exposure to volatile commodity yarn pricing cycles. Moving further down the textile value chain allows them to extract optimal returns from their scaled manufacturing base and satisfy growing client demand for finished materials, states a corporate official. To support these capital requirements, the board has proposed increasing authorized share capital to Rs 100 crore and a 1:1 bonus issue. Backed by an active order book of Rs 51.46 crore, they aim to consolidate their footprint across domestic and global apparel markets.
Headquartered in Gujarat, Aastha Spintex produces contamination-controlled cotton yarns and grey fabrics for domestic weaving and knitting sector. The company targets aggressive value-chain expansion, supported by a fiscal 2026 revenue of Rs 352 crore and a net profit of Rs 23.8 crore.
