Anaura, a sustainable fabric unveiled at Bharat Tex 2024
Rudra Ecovation and Shiva Texfab launched Anaura, a revolutionary fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, at Bharat Tex 2024. This eco-friendly innovation offers a stylish and sustainable alternative to traditional fabrics. Anaura boasts a daily production of 320,000 meters, highlighting its potential to significantly impact the fashion industry. Additionally, it is comfortable, versatile, and durable.
Beyond fashion, Rudra Ecovation demonstrates its commitment to sustainability across its product portfolio. They produce 50,000 sq m of carpets and 20 tons of fabrics daily, specifically designed for applications like leather backing and shoe lining. They also repurpose bottle caps into 20 tons of granules used for making furniture and crates.
Their state-of-the-art recycling facility is one of the largest in the industry, processing 8.8 million PET bottles daily and saving 140,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. Anaura's production alone conserves resources, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and promotes sustainable practices throughout the manufacturing process.
Established in 1997, Rudra Ecovation is India's largest integrated plastic recycling facility, leading the way in sustainable innovations. Their diverse product portfolio, ranging from Anaura to technical textiles, showcases their commitment to a sustainable future.
