Beekaylon Synthetics expands global reach with innovation and sustainability focus

Beekaylon Synthetics, a leading manufacturer of dope-dyed yarn, has built a strong global presence since its inception in 1979. The company, founded by Nand and Ashok Khemani, pioneered synthetic yarn processing in India and remains focused on technological innovation.
Sharad Nigam, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, highlighted Beekaylon’s evolution, noting the company’s early adoption of advanced machines and its shift to producing colored yarn when most competitors were making raw white yarn. Its product range now includes polyester filament, dope-dyed yarn, and specialty yarns for industries like automotive and home furnishings.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Beekaylon operates five plants in Silvassa, producing polyester filament, air-textured yarn, and BCF yarn. Sustainability initiatives include solar energy, water conservation, and using PET flakes in manufacturing.
Looking ahead, Beekaylon plans to expand its capacity and product offerings while maintaining its commitment to value addition and innovation. The company exports to key markets worldwide, including the Americas, Europe, Africa, and South-East Asia.
