Borana Weaves begins commercial operations with 192 new water jet looms at its Surat unit

As a part of its plan to install a total of 348 looms, Borana Weaves has started commercial operations with the newly installed 192 water jet looms at the Hojiwala Industrial Estate, plant in Surat. The new capacity is expected to improve efficiency, increase production, and help the company meet rising demand in both the domestic and export markets.

This expansion is expected to strengthen the company’s position in the textile industry. The commissioning of the first 192 looms not only boosts their capacity but also improves their ability to deliver high-quality fabrics that meet changing customer needs, says Rajkumar Borana, Director & CFO of Borana Weaves.
