Borana Weaves boosts capacity expansion riding on strong Q1, FY26 growth
...Surat-based synthetic fabric manufacturer Borana Weaves has posted a standalone net profit of Rs 16.48 crore in Q1, FY26 ended June 30, marking a 35 per cent Y-o-Y increase compared to Rs 12.20 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Operating revenue advanced 26 per cent to Rs 101 crore, boosted by a healthy demand across domestic fashion and home textile processing sectors. Buoyed by this growth, the board of directors has approved a major capital expenditure program at its Unit 4 facility located in the Hojiwala Industrial Estate.
The upcoming brownfield expansion will integrate 192 advanced water jet looms and three high-speed texturizing machines, funded entirely through internal accruals. Management anticipates commercial commissioning by December 2026, positioning the firm to capture rising export demand for technical and apparel greige fabrics. Our continuous technological investments enable us to scale output while defending operating margins against raw material volatility, noted a company spokesperson.
