CAI reports strong cotton arrivals for 2024-2025 season

The Cotton Association of India (CAI) data for cotton arrivals till October 30, 2024, highlights cumulative inflows since the start of the season on October 1. North India and Telangana led the arrivals with 15,000 bales each, translating to 2,550 metric tons. Gujarat followed with 13,500 bales (2,295 metric tons), while Maharashtra and Karnataka also recorded substantial volumes at 13,000 and 14,000 bales, respectively.
Total arrivals for October 30 reached 82,600 bales or 14,042 metric tons. Cumulatively, the season’s tally stands at 1.71 million bales, equivalent to 291,805 metric tons.
