CMAI’s FAB Show 2024: Boost for India's apparel industry.
The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is hosting the 4th edition of the Fab Show, India's largest apparel industry expo, from April 15-17 in Mumbai, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO). Over 200 fabric suppliers, accessory makers, machinery providers, and more will showcase their wares to over 10,000 industry professionals.
The show offers a unique platform for networking and exploring the latest trends in textile manufacturing. Over 1500 high-profile buyers and 10,000 domestic and international visitors are expected to attend, representing countries like the USA, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
Sustainability is a major focus of the event. An innovative zone made from recycled materials will educate attendees about eco-friendly practices, reflecting CMAI's commitment to a greener future for the garment industry.
"The Fab Show exemplifies the vibrancy of the Indian apparel industry," said CMAI President Rajesh Masand. "The event serves as a catalyst for trade and partnerships, while promoting sustainability and technological advancements."
Fab Show chairman Naveen Sainani emphasized the importance of sustainability: "Through the Fab Show, CMAI paves the way for a future where sustainability is fundamental to all business operations."
Leading companies like Grasim, Arvind, and Siyaram's will be among the exhibitors. Over 4,000 CMAI members, including garment manufacturers and brand owners, are expected to attend, solidifying the FAB Show's position as a premier event for India's fashion and apparel industry.
