Co-located shows, Yarnex and TexIndia scheduled from January 16-18, 2025 in Kolkata

Pivotal events for the Indian textile value chain, the Yarnex and TexIndia exhibitions are scheduled from January 16–18, 2026 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata.

Being organized by SS Textile Media (TFI - Textile Fairs India), the events are a ‘quad-show’ experience. The 2026 edition is specifically designed to address the ‘Eastern Surge’- the growing demand from Kolkata's apparel manufacturers and exporters who are increasingly looking for high-quality, sustainable raw materials.

Many major exhibitors (like Vardhman Textiles and Siyaram) are expected to debut eco-friendly product lines including recycled fibers, organic blends and water-saving dues. Some of the major exhibits include high-performance fibers, specialty yarns for athletic wear (elastic/fancy), and natural blends (silk, flax, and wool), knitted, embroidered, and specialized shirting fabrics, as well as a dedicated Indigo zone for the latest denim washes and textures and displays of CAD/CAM software for garment design and AI-driven quality assurance tools to reduce production defects.

The events will also include the Prism Awards to honor exhibitors who bring the most innovative and ‘trend-setting’ products to the floor. Over 7,000 professional visitors are expected to attend these shows. These include decision-makers from international buying houses (like H&M and Zara sourcing teams), fashion designers, and large-scale powerloom weavers.
