Dodhia Synthetics partners Orb Energy to install 600 kWp rooftop solar system
Leading textile manufacturer, Dodhia Synthetics has partnered a prominent Indian solar energy provider, Orb Energy to install a 600kWp rooftop solar system at their manufacturing facility, a move that would deliver both environmental benefits and substantial economic gains. The solar setup is projected to generate over 800,000 units of clean electricity annually, effectively offsetting more than 750 tons of CO2 emissions each year. Beyond its positive environmental impact, the system is expected to yield significant cost savings of over Rs 60 lakh annually, with a payback period of just three years, highlighting its strong financial viability.
Beyond the operational and financial advantages, this initiative boosts Dodhia's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) credentials, increasing its reputation among sustainability-focused clients and investors. The installation also provides a reliable energy source, crucial for ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing operations in the textile sector.
