InspireOn Engineering (IEPL) is celebrating a landmark milestone. Founded in 1973, the Ahmedabad-based engineering company officially crossed its 50-year threshold this month, punctuated by a grand gala at its Chandial plant on December 13.

While the company is globally synonymous with its flagship aluminium flyers - boasting over 5 million installations worldwide – it aims to pivot towards high-growth segments like technical textiles and green manufacturing in future.

The company is currently integrating its newest Motex 15000 and SprintOn stenters with the proprietary Kaprec heat recovery system, which slashes thermal energy consumption by nearly 15 per cent. This shift is critical as Indian fabric manufacturers face intensifying global pressure to meet ‘Net Zero’ targets by 2030. The market is moving from volume-led production to precision-led sustainability, notes Radhika Bhagwati, Director who is spearheading a new leadership era focused on customer-centric R&D. With India's technical textile sector projected to reach $40 billion by 2030, IEPL’s focus on machinery for medical and automotive fabrics provides a crucial domestic alternative to expensive European imports.

IEPL is a global leader in precision textile components and finishing equipment. It is the world’s largest manufacturer of aluminium flyers and a premier provider of hot air stenters used in fabric heat-setting.
