Kanpur Plasticpack ties up with Essegomma SpA for polypropylene yarn production

Kanpur Plastipack has entered into a 50:50 JV with the Italian company Essegomma SpA for the production and distribution of high-performance polypropylene yarn. To be established in India, the JV will handle the sales, marketing, trading, and distribution of high-performance polypropylene yarn.

This partnership aims to leverage Essegomma's European expertise (especially in Taslan yarn technology) and brand reputation with Kanpur Plastipack's manufacturing base to supply premium-quality technical yarns to global markets and high-end textile applications in India.

Kanpur Plastipack is an existing manufacturer of Polypropylene (PP) High Tenacity Multifilament Yarn (MFY), in addition to its main business of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs), woven sacks, and fabrics.
