Kansal Spinning to expand premium viscose and blended yarn capacity

A part of the Surat-based Kansal Group of Industries, Kansal Spinning is undertaking an expansion  project to strengthen its position in the premium viscose and blended yarn market. The company is increasing its yarn manufacturing capacity by installing 32,832 additional spindles. This large-scale investment is specifically designed to boost the output of viscose yarn and its sophisticated blends. 

Kansal is also heavily leveraging SIRO Compact Spinning technology for producing yarn with superior characteristics, including higher strength, reduced hairiness, and a smoother surface, which are highly sought after for premium textiles.

The company is growing beyond yarn by implementing a forward integration plan into weaving with the installation of airjet looms which are high-speed, state-of-the-art weaving machines that use jets of air to propel the filling yarn across the shed. This technology is recognized for its high production speeds, efficiency, and ability to weave high-quality fabric, signaling Kansal's commitment to producing premium-grade woven goods.
