Monforts to launch new coaTTex coating unit at Techtextil 2024.

Monforts will unveil its new coaTTex coating unit at the upcoming Techtextil trade show in Frankfurt (April 23-25). This versatile unit is designed for single-sided application of paste or foam coatings using air knife or knife-over-roller technology.

coaTTex can be integrated into existing finishing lines or paired with new Monforts lines, including their industry-leading Montex stenters. The system enables a wide range of fabric coatings for functionalities like waterproofing, breathability, and blackout applications.

coaTTex units boast operational speeds of up to 40 meters per minute and come in widths ranging from 1800mm to 3600mm. Their robust design features a rotating beam that can hold up to three different knife configurations.

For user-friendly operation and easy adaptation to various projects, the coaTTex offers central adjustment of beam position, knife angle, and tension control. Additionally, the unit features pneumatically controlled functions for cleaning the coating roller, lifting the beam at seams, and clamping during fabric stoppage.
