RSWM bags sustainability awards; posts Rs 13.24 crore profit in H1, FY26

As the year 2025 concludes, RSWM has strengthened its market leadership by securing three prestigious sustainability honors, including the AR Choice Award for Sustainable Textile Manufacturer of the Year at SustainableNXT. This recognition coincides with a important fiscal recovery, where the company transitioned from a Rs 35 crore loss in the previous year to a net profit of Rs 13.24 crore in H1,FY26. While the broader textile sector contends with volatile export demand, RSWM’s strategic shift toward high-value technical textiles and circular material practices has served as a critical performance buffer. The company now processes approximately 183 crore PET bottles annually to fuel its ‘Green Fiber’ line, effectively decoupling production growth from virgin resource consumption.

This operational resilience is further underpinned by the ‘RSWM 2.0’ framework, which prioritizes energy security through a 60 MW renewable agreement with Adani Energy Solutions. By scaling its renewable energy share toward a 70 per cent target, the firm is insulating its spinning and knitting units against fluctuating industrial power tariffs. Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, noted, responsible manufacturing is now a prerequisite for long-term resilience and shared value creation rather than a mere regulatory obligation. With 12 state-of-the-art facilities across India, RSWM is leveraging AI-driven demand planning and the recent acquisition of Ginni Filaments’ spinning assets to optimize its supply chain. This integrated approach positions the company to capitalize on the anticipated India-UK and India-EU Free Trade Agreements, which are expected to enhance market access for sustainable Indian yarns and fabrics in early 2026.

A cornerstone of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, RSWM specializes in the manufacture of high-quality synthetic, cotton, and blended yarns alongside denim and knitted fabrics. Founded in 1960 and headquartered in Noida, the company serves a global client base across 70 countries. Under the leadership of Riju Jhunjhunwala, RSWM is executing an aggressive growth plan centered on recycled fibers and renewable energy, having reported a half-yearly revenue of Rs 2,319 crore and a significant EBITDA growth of 66.1 per cent in late 2025.
