RSWM reports robust financial turnaround in FY26 as EBITDA rises by 40%

Flagship textile entity of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, RSWM has reported a strong financial recovery for FY26 ended March 31, 2026, moving from a net loss to a standalone profit after tax of Rs 52 crore. Despite a 5.6 per cent drop in annual revenue to Rs 4,554 crore, attributed largely to lower global pricing and the rationalization of spinning operations at the Chhata facility, the company achieved 40.5 per cent Y-o-Y increase in EBITDA, which reached Rs 327 crore. This operational resurgence was largely due to an aggressive shift toward high-value segments, including the commercialization of the ‘Glide’ A/W 2026-27 denim collection and expanded knitting capacities aimed at high-growth lifestyle categories.
The company is currently leveraging the UK-India and India-EU trade discussions to diversify its export footprint, which already showed a 11.4 per cent sequential recovery in the final quarter. Over the past year, RSWM has delivered a decisive turnaround, transitioning from losses to profitability while strengthening our operational foundation, states Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman & Managing Director. Strategic investments, such as the Rs 20 crore acquisition of LNJ GreenPET, have positioned the firm to capitalize on the rising global demand for GRS-certified recycled polyester. This green transition is further supported by an increase in renewable energy capacity to 138 MW, significantly insulating the company from volatile grid power costs and enhancing its ESG credentials for international buyers.
RSWM is a leading Indian manufacturer of value-added synthetic, mélange, and cotton yarns, denim, and knitted fabrics. Serving premium global and domestic apparel brands, the company plans to finalize knitting upgrades by H1 FY27. Historically a pioneer since 1961, it now targets sustainable growth through recycled fiber and renewable energy integration.
