RSWM shifts focus to high-margin technical textiles to sustain turnaround

RSWM is increasing its shift from a traditional commodity spinner to a high-value technical textiles manufacturer. Having achieved a financial turnaround in FY26 with a PAT of Rs 52 crore, the company is now directing its capital expenditure toward advanced product segments, including high-performance blended yarns integrated with proprietary thermal regulation technologies such as Coolmax and 37.5.

This shift is timely, as global apparel brands demand traceable, eco-conscious materials. RSWM’s recent operational data indicates that 70 per cent of its energy consumption is now sourced from renewable wind and solar projects, a factor that significantly boosts its appeal to ESG-focused export markets in the EU and the UK. With its recycling infrastructure processing 6.5 million PET bottles daily, the company is effectively decoupling growth from raw material volatility.
