Sangam India has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DaMENSCH Apparel to acquire a 1.73 per cent stake as a part of strategic partnership aimed at marketing activewear products. Under the MoU, Sangam India will invest Rs 9.99 crore by subscribing to 470 compulsorily convertible preference shares in DaMENSCH Apparel on a fully diluted basis.

DaMENSCH Apparel is produces apparel and lifestyle products, with a focus on men's innerwear and activewear. The partnership seeks to leverage Sangam India's manufacturing expertise to produce and market seamless and activewear products. This long-term collaboration aims to boost both companies presence in the growing activewear market by combining Sangam’s strengths in synthetic blended yarn, fabrics, denim, and seamless garment manufacturing with DaMENSCH’s brand and product portfolio.

Sangam India, a well-established player in yarn and fabric manufacturing, reported a 30.3 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 9.52 crore in Q4 FY25, despite a 4.7 per cent rise in net sales to Rs 734.30 crore compared to Q4 FY24. The strategic investment in DaMENSCH is expected to diversify Sangam’s product offerings and open new revenue streams in the activewear and lifestyle apparel segment.
