Sangeet Syntex launched a sophisticated array of performance-driven circular knitted fabrics at Fabtex 2026 in Mumbai. This is a shift toward high-value technical textiles. It featured advanced moisture-wicking, antimicrobial, and UV-protective finishes applied to a diverse fiber base including recycled polyester and biodegradable Eco Gold polyester. This technological shift takes place as the Indian textile sector passes through a complex global scenario; while cumulative textile and apparel exports faced a marginal decline of 2.21 per cent in FY 2025-26, the industry is increasingly banking on specialized fabrics to remain competitive.

The company’s vertical integration, from yarn texturizing to finished garments, ensures the agility required by modern global brands, says Rahul Modi, Managing Director. Their focus on B2B garment solutions addresses the rising demand for integrated manufacturing in the sportswear and corporate segments. Despite 50 per cent US tariff pressures earlier in the fiscal, the sector's resilience is boosted by Sangeet Syntex that prioritize material innovation and sustainable chemistries. This move toward functional, eco-conscious fabrics is projected to be a primary growth driver as global buyers prioritize supply chain transparency and technical excellence over basic commodity textiles.

A Mumbai-based manufacturer, Sangeet Syntex specializes in high-quality circular knitted fabrics and B2B garment solutions for sportswear and uniforms. Established in 1980, the company serves domestic and international markets, reporting a 27 per cent revenue growth in FY 2024-25 and focusing on sustainable fiber expansion.
