Saurer Group awards WTIL ‘Certificate of Excellence in Spinning

Acknowledging the company’s exceptional achievements in spinning technology, product quality and operational excellence, Saurer Group  awarded Winsome Textile Industries (WTIL) with the ‘Certificate of Excellence in Ring Spinning’.

Established in 1980, WTIL began as a greenfield textile venture in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, initially operating with 16,000 spindles. Today, the company has significantly expanded its capacity to an impressive 106,000 spindles. Beyond spinning, WTIL also runs a dye house with a daily capacity of 33 tons and produces 7 tons of yarn-dyed knitted fabric per day.

WTIL currently produces 7.5 tons of high-quality yarn daily with an average yarn count of Ne 30, utilizing advanced high-speed Zinser 351 ring spinning machines. Demonstrating a strong commitment to both sustainability and competitiveness, the company has also made substantial investments in hydro power generation.

Under the guidance of a dynamic professional team, WTIL has emerged as a leading producer of mélange, dyed, and specialty yarns. The company boasts a robust global footprint, serving over 250 international customers across 50 countries. Domestically, WTIL maintains a strong presence, catering to more than 600 customers across India.
