Saurer launches new Zinser 51 ring spinning machine

Leading textile machinery manufacturer, Saurer launched the new Zinser 51 ring spinning machine at a recent partner event in Karjan, Gujarat, India. Designed for the modern textile industry, the machine is available in both ring-spinning and compact-spinning configurations. It sets new standards in flexibility, energy efficiency, and automation.
With 2,056 spindles, the Zinser 51 is the longest ring spinning machine on the market. The design and maintenance-free middle drive make it adaptable for a wide variety of fibers, including cotton, viscose, synthetic blends, recycled materials, and even technical yarns like aramid and carbon fiber. With Easyspin technology, mills can easily switch between yarn types, optimizing performance and expanding their product portfolio.
The machine features advanced systems like the innovative NSD-i drafting system and Flexidriver NFD intermediate drive, ensuring consistent yarn quality even at high speeds of up to 30,000 rpm. Its new suction systems, Twinsuction and Optisuction, provide significant energy savings. According to P Sivakumar, Head- Global Sales, Saurer, the Zinser 51 offers up to 10 per cent energy savings and 20 per cent lower maintenance costs, helping spinners manage thin margins and optimize production.
