Stoll launches wider flat knitting machine.

Responding to the growing demand for larger sized clothing, Stoll has introduced the CMS 503 ki L, a flat knitting machine with a wider working width. This new model complements the existing CMS 503 ki and is designed for manufacturers producing high volumes of knitted goods.

The ‘L’ in CMS 503 ki L stands for ‘Large’. With a working width of 50 inches (127 cm), this machine allows for the creation of garments with extensive designs and caters to the growing need for larger size clothing options. This is particularly beneficial for international brands that need to offer a wider size range.

The CMS 503 ki L offers a gauge range of E5 - E18 / E2.5.2 - 8.2 and comes equipped with Stoll's proven technologies, including Multiflex take-up and spring-loaded latch needles. These features ensure efficient fabric production, minimize waste, and produce high-quality knitted goods with consistent stitch definition.

As part of Stoll's Knitelligence machine generation, the CMS 503 ki L is built for the digital age. It facilitates process automation, improved transparency, faster production cycles, and networking, opening doors for new business models.

Backed by Stoll's German engineering and the vast resources of the Karl Mayer group, the CMS 503 ki L offers exceptional performance at an attractive price point. The machine's reliable design ensures customer satisfaction, with existing CMS machines known to operate for over 100,000 working hours.

The CMS 503 ki L will be showcased at the Karl Mayer Group booth at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024, taking place October 14-18, 2024, in Shanghai.
