Super Spinning Mills registers Rs 25.74 lakh net profit in Q2, FY26

As against a net loss of Rs 13.20 lakh reported in Q2, FY25, Super Spinning Mills registered consolidated net profit of Rs 25.74 lakh in Q2, FY26. The company attributes this recovery to the profitable rental services segment overpowering the reduced, but still negative, financial impact of the discontinued textile segment.

Super Spinning Mills officially discontinued its textile manufacturing operations on August 31, 2023, and has been transitioning its business model to Rental Services, primarily by leasing out its erstwhile factory properties and assets. The Rental Services segment generated a healthy Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 49.53 lakhs for the quarter, demonstrating the success of the transition in providing a stable, non-operating income stream. The continuing operations contributed Rs 158.52 lakhs in revenue.
