Surya Spinners aims to doubles output with new technology.

Surya Spinners, a manufacturer of recycled rotor yarns in India, has installed a Rieter UNIblend A 81 precision blender to meet growing demand and improve efficiency. The company, established in 2010, previously relied on a manual mixing process for its recycled cotton and polyester blend, leading to inconsistency. The new automated blender ensures precise blending within a tolerance of one per cent, guaranteeing consistent yarn quality for end products like garments.

Surya Spinners expects to double production capacity with the UNIblend A 81. Additionally, the machine's compact design and fully automated operation contribute to energy savings and reduced reliance on manual labor.

Thiyagarajan Kuppusamy, Director, Surya Spinners says, the UNIblend A 81 has transformed their blending process, eliminating manual intervention and ensuring consistent results. This, he believes, will solidify their position as a major player in South India's recycled yarn manufacturing business.
