Trident Group recognized for excellence in sustainable manufacturing
Trident Group has reinforced its position as a leader in green textile manufacturing, securing three distinguished national honors at the 10th Edition of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition. Held on July 2-3, 2026, in New Delhi under the theme ‘Powering the Net Zero Goals,’ the award acknowledged the company’s comprehensive strategy for decarbonizing its extensive yarn and home textile production lines.
Trident emerged as the National Winner for its case study on Low Carbon and Net Zero Roadmaps, while also earning the National Gold Award for superior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. The Group was recognized as an ‘Excellent Energy Efficient Organization’, a title it previously had in 2016 and 2017. These accolades arrive at a critical juncture for the industry, as European and North American retail partners demand rigorous carbon-neutral compliance.
By integrating AI-driven energy monitoring and circular production systems, Trident has successfully improved its S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment standing. These operational advancements underscore a broader shift within the Indian textile sector, where competitive advantage is no longer determined by volume alone, but by the ability to maintain a transparent, energy-efficient, and sustainable supply chain for global markets.
