Visaka Yarns targets Rs 500 crore turnover in 5 years
Visaka Yarns' aims for a turnover of Rs 500 crore from its textile division over the next 3-5 years. For this, the company plans to focus on three important growth pillars: scaling capacity, investing in next-generation yarn technologies, and enhancing global visibility.
The expansion plan involves channeling fresh investments into physical infrastructure and research and development (R&D) to handle increased volume.
The company views technology as a strategic differentiator and invests in sustainable and innovative yarn solutions. One of the company’s most noteworthy sustainable innovations is the Wonder Yarn that is available in two variants; one made from recycled PET bottles and the other from virgin fibers combined with FSC-certified viscose.
The company also plans to develop new, value-added yarns like mélange yarns, grindle yarns, and high-twist yarns to cater for niche and premium applications in garments, furnishings, and technical textiles.
