Winsome Yarns reconstitutes Board following NCLT resolution approval

Winsome Yarns has transitioned into a new operational phase following the implementation of a resolution plan sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). As a part of corporate restructuring, Manish Bagrodia has vacated his office as a non-executive, non-independent director from July 10, 2026. This leadership change aligns with the constitution of a new Board of Directors on June 23, 2026, which marks the company's emergence from the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
The restructuring follows the successful acquisition by Mohini Health & Hygiene, which secured NCLT approval in April 2026 to infuse Rs 162.9 crore into the firm. Under the new stewardship, the company has appointed six directors to handle its recovery including Vipan Kumar as executive director. The capital infusiong and management expertise is aimed at addressing legacy financial constraints and restore operational stability.
While the company has faced a challenging insolvency period since December 2023, the transformation will stabilize supply chain and reclaim competitive positioning within the cotton yarn and knitting segments. Analysts believe, successful implementation of this resolution plan could facilitate a gradual improvement in the company's earnings trajectory through FY27.
Winsome Yarns is a prominent manufacturer of cotton yarn and knitted fabrics. Following its acquisition by Mohini Health & Hygiene, the firm is focusing on operational turnaround and capacity optimization. With a historical legacy in textile manufacturing, the company currently targets domestic recovery and improved market share.
