A B Cotspin India has secured a 500 metric ton cotton yarn order valued at Rs 14 crore, reinforcing its position as a key supplier of cotton yarn, knitted fabrics, and eco-friendly products.

The Union Budget 2025-26 emphasizes strengthening India’s textile, MSME, and manufacturing sectors with initiatives like a mission for cotton productivity, enhanced MSME credit support, and duty restructuring on textiles and leather. These measures aim to drive growth, sustainability, and global competitiveness. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s ongoing political crisis is pushing global retailers to seek alternative sourcing destinations, with India emerging as a strong contender.

Deepak Garg, MD, A B Cotspin India says the order increases the company’s domestic and international market presence while boosting sales and profits. The firm remains committed to sustainability through advanced recycling, renewable energy use, and resource optimization. It expects FY 2025-26 turnover between Rs 350-400 crore, EBITDA of Rs 50-55 crore, and PAT of Rs 30-35 crore.

Listed on NSE Emerge, the Punjab-based company’s Q3 FY25 net profit rose 43.8 per cent to Rs 4.07 crore, even as revenue fell 13.6 per cent YoY to Rs 59.24 crore. As of March 27, 2025, its market capitalization stands at Rs 479.62 crore.
