Aarti International sets new standard with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Technology.
Aarti International Limited (AIL) is redefining sustainability in the textile sector with its groundbreaking initiatives. Established in 1996, AIL has earned acclaim for its commitment to eco-friendly practices, notably through its pioneering Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology in knit processing. This approach, which ensures zero wastewater discharge, has earned AIL recognition from Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann, who awarded Managing Director Vinayak Mittal for this achievement.
AIL’s dedication to sustainability extends to its energy use, with the company installing 11.6 MW of rooftop solar panels across its units. The company's state-of-the-art dyeing and processing unit, operational since 2018, now boasts a daily capacity of 30 tonnes, featuring advanced Thies Dyeing Machines and Lab Dip Automatic Dispensing technology.

AIL’s diverse product portfolio includes high-quality yarns and fabrics, such as 100 per cent cotton yarns and various knitted fabrics like Single Jersey with Spandex. The company’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in its adherence to global certifications, green chemical management, and efficient water usage practices, including a 92 per cent recovery rate from its effluent treatment processes.
