AB Cotspin secures Rs 7.5 crore cotton yarn order, highlights sustainability efforts

AB Cotspin India Ltd has secured an Rs 7.5 crore order to supply 300 metric tons of premium cotton yarn. The order underscores growing demand for its high-quality products in both domestic and global markets. Managing Director Deepak Garg highlighted that the order demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to quality, efficient delivery, and fostering lasting customer relationships, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the textile industry.

While the buyer’s identity remains undisclosed, AB Cotspin emphasized its commitment to sustainability. The company utilizes recycled cotton, including pre- and post-consumer waste, to produce eco-friendly yarns and garments aligned with Global Recycling Standards (GRS). Notably, it innovatively employs colored waste materials to eliminate dyeing processes, reducing wastewater and expanding its product range.

Furthering its green initiatives, AB Cotspin recently installed an additional 300 KW of solar power, increasing its total solar capacity to 2,800 KW. Another 331 KW is under installation and will be operational by January 2025.
