Alok Industries, a well-know player in textile industry player backed by Reliance Industries, has signed an agreement with Rieter India to modernize its spinning operations with advanced compact spinning technology. The agreement, covers the supply and installation of a complete end-to-end system designed to increase efficiency, quality, and sustainability at Alok’s Unit 4.

The new setup includes fiber and spinning preparation equipment, automated lap transport systems, combing sets, G 38 ring spinning machines with integrated compacting technology, and Rieter’s flagship X6 winding machine. This digitalized system supports Industry 4.0 standards and is expected to deliver higher productivity, energy savings, and superior yarn consistency.

Harsh Bapna, CEO of Alok Industries, highlighted the investment as an important move to align the company with global benchmarks in quality and operational excellence. Group COO Biji Chacko noted that the upgrade represents advancement toward smarter, more sustainable, and internationally competitive manufacturing.

Rieter India’s Managing Director Prasanta Deka expressed confidence that the collaboration will help Alok meet evolving industry demands. The deal reaffirms Alok’s focus on innovation and its long-term goal of becoming a leading global supplier of high-performance yarn through sustainable, tech-driven growth.
