Bangladeshi yarn manufacturer Aman Cotton Fibrous significantly narrowed its losses in the first quarter of 2024. The company reported a 91 per cent decline in losses compared to the same period last year. This improvement is attributed to a decrease in raw cotton prices and a slight increase in carded yarn sales.

Despite the positive news on losses, Aman Cotton's net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) fell due to rising payments to suppliers and employees.

The company is looking to improve its cash flow situation in the coming quarters.
