Asia Pacific Rayon showcases sustainable viscose and lyocell at Vietnam's SaigonTex 2025

Asia Pacific Rayon (APR), a global leader in viscose staple fibre production, presented its eco-friendly viscose and lyocell products at recent SaigonTex 2025 held in Vietnam, reinforcing its commitment to a more sustainable textile industry. These biodegradable, nature-based fibres produced from wood pulp sourced from certified plantations are gaining traction in Vietnam’s rapidly growing textile market.
APR’s presence at the event, under the theme ‘Experience Lyocell, Feel the Difference,’ highlighted its dedication to responsible fibre production and eco-fashion. The company showcased how viscose and lyocell, branded under Lyocell by Sateri, can support Vietnam’s ambitions to become a sustainable textile hub. Vietnam, with its skilled workforce and expanding production capabilities, is emerging as a key regional market for MMCFs (man-made cellulosic fibres).
As demand for sustainable fibres rises globally with expected annual growth of 6–10 per cent through 2030 APR sees Vietnam as a strategic market for expanding its sustainable product reach and strengthening regional partnerships.
