Birla Cellulose and Hyosung debut new cellulosic knit collection.

Birla Cellulose and Hyosung have teamed up to introduce an innovative collection of cellulosic knits featuring Creora Color+ Spandex. This collaboration marries vibrant color with superior flexibility, overcoming traditional spandex’s dye absorption challenges.

Abir Chakrabarti, Joint President of Grasim Industries, lauded the fusion of science and style in their new line. The innovative CREORA Color+ Spandex enables deep, uniform color in natural fibers like cotton, rayon, and modal, addressing previous limitations with spandex's dyeing capabilities.

Hyosung's Director of Technical and Business Development, Dinesh Keswani, highlighted the transformative potential of dyeable spandex for diverse applications, from intimate apparel to activewear. This development not only enhances aesthetic possibilities but also advances sustainability goals.

Chakrabarti emphasized the new fabric line reduces water and energy consumption while minimizing waste, aligning with a commitment to environmental responsibility. The initiative reflects a significant step toward greener textile solutions, blending style with sustainability.
