Chinese company BaoRui Textile to establish major yarn and fabric manufacturing plant in Bangladesh

Bangladesh BaoRui Textile, a Chinese company, is set to invest $19.53 million in the Mongla Export Processing Zone (EPZ) to establish a state-of-the-art textile manufacturing facility. The project is poised to significantly boost Bangladesh's textile industry and create numerous job opportunities.
The proposed facility aims to produce 10 million pounds of raw yarn, 6 million pounds of knitted fabric, and 1 million garment pieces annually. This ambitious undertaking is expected to generate approximately 1,505 jobs for local Bangladeshi workers, contributing to the country's economic growth and social development.
The investment agreement was formally signed by Huang Hua, Managing Director of Bangladesh BaoRui Textile, and Md Ashraful Kabir, a member of the investment promotion team at Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza). Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, Executive Chairman of Bepza, expressed enthusiasm about the project, emphasizing the authority's commitment to providing a secure and supportive environment for investors.
