Circulose teams up with Canopy to redefine sustainable sourcing

The first companies of 2025, including Boden, Nobis, Native Shoes, Bobo Choses, Finisterre, SMCP, and moodytiger, have pledged to eliminate Ancient and Endangered Forests from their textile and packaging supply chains. They have joined Canopy’s CanopyStyle and Pack4Good initiatives, reinforcing industry commitment to sustainability.
Innovators Circulose, Palouse Fiber Packaging, and Medoola, which create packaging and viscose from clothing waste, wheat straw, and food waste, respectively, also joined, along with paper packaging producer Checkpoint Systems. These companies will prioritize low-carbon, circular alternatives like recycled textiles and agricultural residues to reduce their environmental impact.
CanopyStyle now includes 578 brands with a combined revenue of $2.029 trillion, while Pack4Good has reached 466 brands worth over $341.4 billion. With over 3.4 billion trees logged annually for fashion and packaging, scaling Next Gen solutions is crucial for resilient supply chains and climate action.
“This is a vital step to keep forests standing and carbon safely stored,” said Canopy’s Executive Director, Nicole Rycroft. By joining Canopy, these brands contribute to a global movement of over 1,000 companies driving sustainable industry transformation.
