India's daily cotton arrivals for the 2023-24 season, from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024, have been estimated across various states. The total projected arrivals are approximately 3,774 metric tons, equivalent to 22,200 bales of 170 kg each.

Gujarat is expected to lead with 1,020 metric tons daily, amounting to around 6,000 bales, followed by Maharashtra with 765 metric tons (4,500 bales). Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are projected to have daily arrivals of 204 and 425 metric tons, respectively.

Other notable contributors include Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, each with 340 metric tons per day. In Tamil Nadu, daily arrivals are estimated at 340 metric tons, while Odisha has an expected total of 370,000 bales for the season. Northern states are anticipated to collectively contribute around 340 metric tons daily.

These estimates highlight the robust contribution of major cotton-producing states, reflecting a steady supply for the ongoing season. The projected overall cotton arrival for the 2023-24 season stands at approximately 5,476,312 metric tons, bolstering the domestic and global cotton markets.
