COTTON USA and Textile Genesis promote sustainable US Cotton in Bangladesh

COTTON USA and Textile Genesis hosted a workshop in Dhaka to advance sustainability in Bangladesh’s textile industry. The event introduced the US Cotton Trust Protocol and the Textile Genesis traceability platform, addressing the rising demand for sustainable US cotton. Around 70 representatives from mills and manufacturers who recently joined the protocol attended the session.

Textile Genesis aims to ensure radical transparency in the supply chain, authenticating sustainable textiles. The platform supports premium materials such as sustainable cotton, recycled polyester, silk, and wool. The sessions underscored the importance of sustainability in business operations and guided participants through the ordering process.
