Daily cotton arrivals for February 13, total 1,07,600 bales: CAI

India’s daily cotton arrivals reached 1,07,600 bales on February 13, 2025 says the Cotton Association of India (CAI). The cumulative arrivals for the season now stand at 1,93,17,300 bales. Maharashtra led arrivals with 47,000 bales, followed by Gujarat at 27,100 bales. Telangana reported 8,500 bales, while Madhya Pradesh and North India recorded 8,000 and 9,300 bales, respectively. Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha saw lower arrivals, ranging from 700 to 3,000 bales.

In terms of cumulative arrivals, Gujarat remained the top contributor with 37,64,600 bales, followed by Maharashtra at 48,57,000 bales and Telangana at 40,99,500 bales. The total cotton arrivals in metric tonnes reached 18,292 for the day, bringing the season’s total to 32,83,941 metric tonnes.

With arrivals progressing steadily, the Indian cotton market remains active. Traders and industry stakeholders are closely monitoring supply trends, which could impact prices in the coming weeks.
