Davifil debuts eco-friendly Cotone Biolana OE at Filo 63

Davifil introduced Cotone Biolana OE, an innovative recycled yarn, at Filo 63. Designed for the Fall/Winter 2026-27 season, this eco-friendly yarn aligns with Davifil’s commitment to sustainability by utilizing 100 per cent recycled materials.
The cotton in Cotone Biolana OE is sourced from garment production scraps and fabric offcuts, which are shredded and re-spun. The wool component comes from combed spinning waste, including ribbons and fiber residues. These materials are blended and spun using the open-end system, creating a high-quality, sustainable yarn.
Available in four natural shades, Oak and Amber (brown tones) and Steel and Ash (gray tones) Cotone Biolana OE is Global Recycle Standard (GRS)-certified. The darker shades (Steel and Amber) feature a 50 per cent Cotton - 50 per cent Wool blend, while the lighter ones (Oak and Ash) consist of 80 per cent Cotton - 20 per cent Wool.
