The 63rd Dornbirn Global Fiber Congress (GFC) and 4th Innovation Days return to Kulturhaus Dornbirn this September 11-13. This year's focus is on innovative advancements in fiber innovations, circularity, and sustainable energy solutions.

Attendees can expect over 125 presentations by industry leaders, academics, and researchers. The Innovation Days showcase 25 innovators with cutting-edge products and technologies. A dedicated Fiber Innovation Platform unveils revolutionary industry concepts. Ample networking opportunities are available throughout the 3-day event.

A highlight is the Energy Solutions Session, featuring innovative approaches for sustainable energy conversion. Additionally, the plenary lectures address the impact of EU politics on the future of energy.

The program delves into sustainability initiatives and technological advances. Talks cover recycling, circular economy, and fiber innovations in nonwovens, biomaterials, and surface modification.

A special session by RWTH Aachen University explores the connection between fibers and energy. Experts will discuss energy-efficient processes, fiber-based energy harvesting solutions, and novel building shading systems.

The Lenzing Young Scientist Award recognizes outstanding student solutions for ecological challenges in the fiber and textile industry. Submissions are open until June 30th, with a top prize of €5,000.
