The 63rd edition of Filo, the International Yarns and Fibres Exhibition, wrapped up in Milan with positivity, showcasing innovation, sustainability, and high-quality collections. Despite global economic uncertainties, buyers engaged actively, particularly appreciating the Filo Capsule Collection fabric samples made with top-tier manufacturing techniques in collaboration with Tessitura Zanello and Ricamificio Vittorio Vanoni.

Foreign participation remained high, with a steady flow of visitors over the two-day event. A delegation of 35 industry professionals from France, the UK, the US, India, and more attended due to Filo’s partnership with ITA-Agency. The Integrated Textile Supply Chain Project also brought buyers from Denmark, Finland, Ireland, and the U.K., alongside a Tunisian delegation led by the country’s ambassador.

The opening ceremony, themed “The Art of Manufacturing,” highlighted Italy’s manufacturing strength and sustainability. Industry leaders, including ITA-Agency President Matteo Zoppas and Piedmont Region Vice-President Elena Chiorino, emphasized the importance of innovation, training, and internationalization.

Filo manager Paolo Monfermoso reaffirmed the event’s role as a key industry platform, ensuring quality, sustainability, and business opportunities. The 64th edition is scheduled for September 10-11, 2025, at Allianz MiCo, Milan.
