Functional Fabric Fair announces new sustainability focus.

Upcoming Functional Fabric Fair from April 17-18 to be hosted at at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland has unveiled its agenda including new initiatives focused on sustainability.

For the first time, the event will feature a pre-show workshop, Day 0 (Zero), on April 16. This ticketed seminar will delve into foundational sustainability topics like supply chain practices and ethical labor. Industry experts will lead discussions and interactive activities.

The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) will also hold its Testing and Standards Exhibition throughout the fair. This free exhibition showcases testing equipment and educational displays on various textile properties.

The main event features over 240 exhibitors showcasing high-performance fabrics for the Spring 2026-27 apparel seasons. The ‘Expert Talks’ program offers industry insights on trends and new textile developments.
