Gokul Tex & Lenzing debut eco-friendly fabrics at CMAI FAB Show 2024.

Leading fiber producer Lenzing Group partnered Surat-based fabric maker Gokul Tex to showcase their new sustainable fabric collection at the recently concluded CMAI FAB Show 2024 in Mumbai. The collaboration marks a significant step towards promoting eco-friendly fashion in India.

Gokul Tex, known for its digital printed fabrics, has been using Lenzing's sustainable Tencel fibers since 2010. Their latest collection, featuring luxurious Tencel lyocell and Tencel Luxe fibers, combines aesthetics, performance, and sustainability.

The three-day event attracted over 200 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors, providing a platform for Lenzing and Gokul Tex to present their innovations. The collection garnered significant interest from young brands, garment makers, and distributors.

Avinash Mane, Lenzing Group's AMEA & NEA region director, stressed on the collaboration's significance: partnering with Gokul Tex allows them to leverage combined expertise and offer the best sustainable products to the Indian textile industry.

Subhash Dhavan, Director of Gokul Tex, agreed, stating that Tencel fibers have improved their collections and drawn in visitors. He expressed enthusiasm for continuing their collaboration with Lenzing to create a more sustainable future for the textile industry.
