HimGra to showcase sustainable fiber innovation at Startup Mahakumbh 2025

Dev Ethical Sustainable Crafts and Textiles, Uttarakhand (DESCATUK), has will present its innovative fiber, HimGra, at Startup Mahakumbh 2025, India’s largest startup event, on from April 3-5 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Organized by FICCI and DPIIT, this platform recognizes HimGra for its zero-cultivation carbon footprint and waterless mechanical fiber extraction process.

HimGra, a patent-applied sustainable fiber, has earned accolades, including the Hindu Kush Himalaya Innovation Challenge for Entrepreneurship, and has been validated by IIT Mandi Catalyst and Fashion for Good. The event will showcase its latest fiber, yarns, and luxury fabrics for apparel, home textiles, knits, and denim. Startup Mahakumbh 2025 will also mark the official launch of HimGra’s commercial cultivation, led by Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Uttarakhand, promoting sustainable livelihoods and climate resilience.
