South Korean sustainable textile leader Hyosung TNC joins forces with Ambercycle, a material science company, to introduce the first textile-to-textile circular polyester into South Korean supply chains. This partnership aims to create a closed-loop system for textiles, reducing environmental impact.

Hyosung TNC brings its extensive experience in fiber manufacturing and sustainable textiles to the table. Ambercycle contributes cycora, a high-quality regenerated polyester made from recycled textiles. Cycora performs as well as virgin materials, making it an attractive option for brands seeking eco-friendly solutions.

This collaboration aligns with both companies' commitment to sustainability. Hyosung TNC has a history of innovation in recycled fibers, while Ambercycle's cycora helps divert textile waste from landfills.

Chi Hyung Kim, CEO of Hyosung TNC, expressed excitement about partnering with Ambercycle to offer sustainable solutions to their customers, highlighting Cycora's impressive quality and potential to reduce waste.

Ambercycle's cycora is gaining traction in the industry. Testing shows it meets the standards of virgin materials and outperforms other recycled options.

This partnership is a significant step towards a more circular textile industry. By incorporating cycora into their supply chains, brands can source high-quality, sustainable materials and reduce their environmental footprint.
