Hyosung TNC partners Musinsa to boost eco-friendly Regen fiber in Korea's fashion industry

Hyosung TNC, a leading textile company, has joined forces with Musinsa, Korea’s largest fashion retail platform, to promote its eco-friendly Regen fiber across the fashion industry. The partnership, announced this April, involves Hyosung supplying Regen fiber to Musinsa’s Earth group, which includes brands committed to sustainable manufacturing. Regen, made from recycled fishing nets and PET bottles, is available in various forms such as Regen Spandex, Nylon, and Polyester.
The collaboration aims to introduce Regen fiber to over 300 brands on Musinsa's platform, covering areas from product development to marketing. Hyosung plans to showcase Regen-related products on World Environment Day, June 5, with seven Musinsa brands debuting fashion items made with the sustainable fiber. A workshop will also be held later this year to introduce Hyosung’s complete range of eco-friendly materials to Musinsa sellers.
Hyosung CEO Kim Chi-hyung expressed confidence that this partnership will strengthen the company’s leadership in the recycled fiber market.
Musinsa’s focus on eco-conscious fashion aligns with the growing demand for sustainable products, supporting the expansion of the eco-friendly fashion market in Korea.
