ICA and Supima partner for stronger cotton trade.
The International Cotton Association (ICA) joined forces with Supima in a new agreement to strengthen cooperation within the cotton industry. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed last month signifies a commitment to working together on several key areas.
The collaboration focuses on promoting fair trade practices, fostering knowledge exchange, and tackling quality issues. Training programs and diplomatic initiatives are also included, aiming to create a more stable and secure cotton trading environment.
This alliance adds to the ICA's growing network of partnerships. Existing MoUs with organizations like Better Cotton and the China Cotton Association demonstrate the ICA's dedication to fostering industry-wide collaboration.
In a statement, ICA President Kim Hanna expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership. He believes this MoU will enhance communication and collaboration, ultimately leading to safer and more reliable cotton trading.
