India’s first PM MITRA Park to come up in Madhya Pradesh with Rs 2,100 crore central allocation

India's first PM MITRA Park will be established in Madhya Pradesh with a Rs 2,100 crore central allocation, marking a major step in strengthening the country’s textile infrastructure. Announced by the Ministry of Textiles, the mega park will come up in Bhensola village, Dhar district, across 2,100 acres. Land allotment applications will open soon.
The state-of-the-art park will feature a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge system, solar power plant, plug-and-play units, and residential facilities. Construction is targeted for completion in 14 months. Backed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F Vision - Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign the project has already attracted investor interest worth Rs 10,000 crore.
Developed under a Special Purpose Vehicle, the Centre will hold 49 per cent equity while the state owns 51 per cent. It’s expected to generate 25,000 jobs through 21 dedicated units. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the initiative as transformative.
The park’s strategic location near Indore, Ratlam, and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway enhances export potential. As a leader in organic and extra-long staple cotton, Madhya Pradesh is set to become a textile powerhouse. This project forms part of India’s broader Rs 4,445 crore commitment for PM MITRA Parks by 2027–28.
