Innovation in fabrics takes center stage at upcoming Intertextile Shenzhen
South China's leading apparel textile fair kicks off in Shenzhen next month. From June 5-7, exhibitors from 11 countries will showcase the latest fabrics and trends at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
Sustainability and functionality are in high demand, and exhibitors will present innovative solutions. Idole Trading (China) will unveil a new wool and tri-acetate yarn blend offering breathability, shine, and wrinkle resistance. Kurabo Industries (Japan) focuses on sustainable, comfortable fabrics made from natural fibers.
A range of fringe events will feature industry experts. The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) will host a panel on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming the textile industry. Pantone will present a Spring/Summer 2025 color forecast inspired by nature and AI.
The fair covers a wide range of products, from organic fibers to finished garments. Suppliers from China, Asia-Pacific, and beyond will exhibit fabrics and accessories for various apparel categories, including sportswear, lingerie, and suiting.
This year's event welcomes a strong Asian presence, with dedicated zones for Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Domestic pavilions from textile hubs like Changshu and Shaoxing will also be well-represented.
